Blended or Residential short courses

In addition to online course offering for professionals, we also offer blended or residential programmes specifically designed to combine working with learning.

We have the following options available:

Design and Evaluation of Innovation Policies (DEIP): an intensive one-week programme for policymakers in science, technology and innovation in developing countries and for participants from the private sector involved in strategic decision-making about technology and innovation. More information

Evidence-Based Policy Research Methods: The Evidence-Based Policy Research Methods (EPRM) course is offered twice a year to working professionals with a desire to increase their research skills. It is delivered over 14 weeks, consisting of course work and assignments that are geared towards drafting a strong research proposal. This programme is based on five broad modules that will be offered online or face-to-face (FTF) in Maastricht. Participants have the option of signing up to the whole programme (14 weeks/5 modules) or individual modules (one of more selected modules). More information

Migration Management Diploma Programme (MMDP): This programme is specifically designed for migration government professionals, providing a focus on theoretical knowledge, as well as practical skills such as articulation and presenting; how to write briefs, policy notes and memoranda; how to formulate evidence-based policy; and how to work in a group and deal with conflicting interests. Master Programme in Public Policy and Human Development Courses (MPP Courses): Our Master Programme in Public Policy and Human Development is organised in such a way that students can also enroll in the separate courses. Most courses run for 4 weeks (some longer) and are concluded with a written exam and/or assignment.
