The Alumni Committee is a team of MERIT alumni, PhD fellows, and students that offer resources and organize events under the current areas of life-long learning (workshops and lectures), connecting careers (employability opportunities), and alumni research (research projects in line with UNU-MERIT’s research agenda).
Connecting Careers
The Connecting Careers subcommittee is your go-to team for all things employability and network-related. Currently, the team hosts the Coffee Chat series, which brings together alumni, fellows, and students to discuss career paths.
Alumni Research
The Alumni Research subcommittee is focused on creating a research structure to increase collaboration between alumni and MERIT to further MERIT’s research agenda of Comprehensive Innovation for Sustainable Development (CI4SD)
Life-long learning
The lifelong learning subcommittee aims to create opportunities for learning practical and hands-on skills necessary to succeed and promote innovation within the industry. It aims to achieve this through designing workshops and lectures that contribute to knowledge sharing.
Regional Ambassadors
We are starting to map MERIT Alumni across the world and the Regional Ambassadors will support in acting as a point of contact for alumni in the region and MERIT.
Editorial (The Cube)
The Cube is a quarterly alumni magazine of UNU-MERIT. The editorial team leads the content curation process for the magazine.
