Rodrigo is a Ph.D. fellow in Innovation, Economics, and Governance for Development at United Nations University. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil) and a Master's degree in Science and Technology Policy from the University of Campinas (Brazil). During his undergraduate years, Rodrigo received a scholarship to attend summer coursework in sustainability at Peking University (China). He worked as a volunteer teacher in Costa Rica and as a cast member at Walt Disney World (United States). Rodrigo has also lived in Cincinnati (United States) where he was an exchange student at Colerain High School. His research interests encompass Economics of Science, Social Network Analysis, and Science and Technology Policy.
