Kristine Farla, Nevena Zhelyazkova, Michael Verba, MGSoG and UNU-MERIT
The workshop is divided in three parts. In the first one (14.00-15.00) Nevena Zhelyazkova will introduce the basic features and commands of STATA (loading the data, operations with variables, basic statistical calculations, using the log file and the do-file, etc.). In the second part (15.15-16.15) Kristine Farla will show how to merge and clean data and how to make graphs. In the third part (16.30-17.30) Michael Verba will explain how to make advanced regressions and how to deal with matrix operations and loops.
About the speaker
Kristine Farla, Nevena Zhelyazkova and Michael Verba are PhD students at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance and UNU-MERIT.
