Measuring Innovation: New Evidence in Support of Innovation Policy
The workshop is part of the European Commission funded INNO Metrics project. INNO Metrics publishes the annual European Innovation Scoreboard (EIS) report which benchmarks the EU Member States' innovation performance. Each EIS report is accompanied by several "Thematic reports" which analyse in more detail different aspects of the innovation process. The workshop will discuss in detail the thematic papers accompanying the forthcoming EIS 2009 report (which focus on user innovation, regional innovation, sectoral innovation and the impact of internationalisation on innovation indicators).
The workshop is being organised by Birkbeck and MERIT in collaboration with DG Enterprise and Industry. Participation is by invitation only.
