Training in Times of Change
Roberto Zachmann, International Labour Organization
What changes in the world of labour distinguish our times from "Modern Times"? What are the skills and capabilities that Charlie Chaplins of the age of ICTs need to possess and how should governments and enterprises act so that they acquire them?
Roberto Zachmann argues that there is a need to modify the vocational and educational systems for the whole economy to enhance social capital and allow contemporary economies to adjust to a new industrial revolution.
