Worldwide Universities Network event: Research supervision and mentorship practices supporting doctoral researchers
Dr Mindel van de Laar and Dr Oksana Celbis, UNU-MERIT, Worldwide Universities Network
The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) study on research supervision and mentorship practices supporting doctoral researchers will hold a closing event on Tuesday 23 January, from 10:00 -12:00 CET. The research project aimed to identify and analyze how PhD students and their supervisors, from a range of diverse institutional, disciplinary, and social contexts, have managed the impact of the pandemic and in what contexts resilience was observable.
More information on the project is available here.
During the first part of this online session, we will engage in interactive sessions to reflect on the longer-term impacts of the pandemic on supervision and mentoring practices. In the second part, we will follow up with a summary of the main project findings, linking them to the discussions held.
If you are interested in joining the public online event and/or receiving the policy brief with the summary of the findings, please register by filling out the registration form here.
