UNU-MERIT: 15 year celebration
This event concludes the series of activities marking the fifteen years since the first formal collaboration between the United Nations University, Maastricht University and the MERIT Foundation, which led to the creation of UNU-MERIT.
Organised as a flagship academic symposium to celebrate and showcase the institute’s history and successes, this event will draw on expertise from across our peer and partner organisations to explore UNU-MERIT’s research agenda on Comprehensive Innovation for Sustainable Development (CI4SD). Crucial to this strategic agenda is how the institute can achieve greater impact in our quest to help tackle the most pressing global problems of human survival, development and welfare that are the concern of the United Nations, its Peoples and the Member States.
15 Years of Partnership
Further, we will reflect with the following speakers on the fifteenth anniversary of the signing of the formal partnership agreement between UNU and Maastricht University which led to the establishment of UNU-MERIT, as well as its continuation.
