Chris Freeman Centenary Lecture Series

Multiple speakers, numerous institutes

Chris Freeman was the founding father of modern Innovation Studies, and his influence on the discipline and the many scholars who followed him has been phenomenal. This online lecture series is a tribute to Freeman in the centenary year of his birth.

The target audience is budding researchers, graduate students and inter-disciplinarians who aspire to use the analytical frame of Innovation Systems, but who may lack a decent grounding in the theory.

The lecture series is designed to serve as a 'text book', giving viewers an opportunity to watch and network with scholars who are already working in the domain. In this way, we hope to inspire and embolden graduate students, particularly those from the Global South.
