STI Conference 2016 Valencia: Peripheries, Frontiers and Beyond

The 21st edition of the Science and Technology (S&T) Indicators Conference is extending its coverage to Innovation and is renamed into Science, Technology and Innovation (STI). The conference aims to stimulate reflection on the challenges posed to STI indicator development and use, in geographical, cognitive or social spaces that are peripheral or marginal to the centers of economic, scientific or technological activity.

UNU-MERIT is involved by organising and chairing a special track on the 'Smart use of indicators for innovation policy'. Anthony Arundel, Hugo Confraria, Hugo Hollanders, Michiko Iizuka and Lili Wang will be participating in the conference in various roles, from chairing sessions to paper presentations and roundtable discussions.

Venue: Valencia, Spain
