This workshop, co-hosted with the Government of Panama and the Inter-American Development Bank, will focus on the challenges for Science, Technology and Innovation policy across Latin America, notably in Costa Rica, Honduras and Panama.
The UNU-MERIT course on the Design and Evaluation of Innovation Policies (DEIP) is an intensive one-week programme for policymakers in science, technology and innovation in developing countries and for participants from the private sector involved in strategic decision-making about technology and innovation. The course has been held in around 20 developing countries since 2004 and has an alumni community of some 1200 policymakers.
