Female Return Migration and Reintegration in Ethiopia

The objective of this study is to understand how different return migrants reintegrate through a comparative case study of three types of female returnees to Ethiopia: domestic workers, students, and professionals.
About the speaker
Katie has worked on several projects at MGSOG funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the International Organization for Migration, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. Katie’s research focuses on forced migration, return migration, domestic workers, and diaspora engagement. She has conducted fieldwork in Afghanistan, Burundi, Canada, Ethiopia, and the United Kingdom on different migration projects.
