Théophile Azomahou is development economist with broad disciplinary interests at the frontier of evidence-based policy, quantitative empirics and theory. His research veers around various topics in development (sustainable development, international trade, public finance and taxation, impact evaluation and field experiments, intergenerational mobility) and in applied econometrics (panel data, nonparametric methods, structural econometrics). He is also interested in, and have worked on topics in economic theory. Théophile Azomahou has published in peer review academic journals including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Development Economics, the Journal of Public Economics, the Macroeconomic Dynamics, the Journal of Macroeconomics, the Economic Theory. He is Guest Editor of the Macroeconomic Dynamics special issue on `Technology Aspects in the Process of Development', and Guest Editor of the Structural Change and Economic Dynamics special issue on `Innovation, Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development'. Théophile Azomahou held a Ph.D. and a Master in economics, both from the University of Strasbourg.
