Kaushalesh Lal earned his Ph. D degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. Prior to joining United Nations University-MERIT, Maastricht in 2003, Dr. Lal was with Institute of Economic Growth, Delhi. After completing full six-year term, he joined Society for Development Studies, Delhi as Professor. He continues to be an affiliated scholar at UNU-MERIT. He has widely published in peer reviewed journals and has several books published by international publishers to his credit. Dr. Lal is on panel of reviewers of several international journals. His areas of research interest include Economics of Technical Change, ICT, Innovation, and Globalisation of Enterprises.
