Dr. Lina Sonne is Associate Professor at Jindal School of Liberal Arts & Humanities at Jindal Global University, Sonipat, India, where she teaches and researches on

  1. Inclusive innovation, social entrepreneurship and impact investing;
  2. Technology and gender, digitisation and society;
  3. Entrepreneurship in arts + culture.

Prior to joining JGU, she set up and ran Inblick Innovation Advisory in Mumbai, and built a research and consulting portfolio on innovation and entrepreneurship for social impact at Okapi Research & Advisory, Mumbai. Before that, she co-led research at Intellecap, Mumbai; and was Assistant Professor at Azim Premji University, Bengaluru, where she was part of the team setting up an MA Development.

She holds a PhD in Economics and Policy of Technical Change from UNU-MERIT and Maastricht University, an MSc in Business Economics from City, University of London, and a PG Diploma in Modern & Contemporary Indian Art History and Curatorial Studies from the Bhau Daji Lad Museum in Mumbai.
