Trang Thi Pham is a PhD fellow at UNU-MERIT since August 2019. Her main research interests include innovation diffusion and governance of innovation for development, with her thesis focusing on the impacts of smartphones with Internet connections on socio-economic issues, particularly household income, employment, and education for developing countries context. The PhD project aims to be a part of global efforts in addressing SDGs 4 and 8.
Trang had her BA in International Economic Relations from Vietnam National University-HCMC, and MSc in International Political Economy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
