Technology adoption is at the forefront of Praachi's research, and she is interested in how it influences the economy and society, particularly the most marginalised groups. In her PhD Thesis, she passionately combines her research interests of technology adoption and addressing gender-based violence, and studies how violence against women is influenced by digitalisation. Prior to joining UNU-MERIT as a Doctoral Fellow, she worked on gender research and advocacy. Praachi holds an MSc. in Public Policy and Human Development from Maastricht University and UNU MERIT, and a BA (Honours) in Economics from Miranda House, Delhi University.
