Davide holds a bachelor and master’s degree in Management Engineering from the University of Brescia. He joined the PhD program at UNU-Merit the last August 2019. His PhD research focuses on understanding how knowledge-flows and collaboration networks affect both the creation and the re-use patterns of novel technologies. From one side, he is particularly interested in how the geographical dispersion of R&D units of MNEs affect the novelty creation process. From the other, his research focuses on explaining how the network of global cities, as well as the inventors’ ethnic origin, influence and shape the geographical diffusion of novelty.
