I am currently a Ph.D fellow at UNU-MERIT, focusing my research on the long term evaluation of social protection policies. Previously, I worked for more than two years at the National Institute of Statistics of Ecuador using administrative data to create research papers on labour and business dynamics. I have worked as an analyst on social affairs, macroeconomic topics and labor and business issues. My profile has always inclined towards research, especially empirical quantitative research.

• MA in Economics awarded by McMaster University in 2010
• MSc in Econometrics awarded by the University of Amsterdam in 2013
