Choolwe Muzyamba

PhD fellow

Cho holds an MSc. from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).  He is currently  a PhD/research fellow at Maastricht University/UNU-MERIT where he is conducting research on the role of community mobilisation on maternal health outcomes among women living with HIV.

He is also part of the teaching staff in the Master of Global Health programme at the Faculty of Health and Life science (FHML) Maastricht University; and the Master of Public Policy (MPP) programme at the Maastricht Graduate School of Governance (MGSoG).

He specialises in development economics, global/public health, Public policy and Governance, Sexual Reproductive Health and rights (SRHR), HIV and maternal health, Community Mobilisation, political economy and participatory development/health promotion.
Previously, he worked for the World Bank, the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Global Health Corp Fellowship and Africa Action Help International.
