Elaine Lebon-McGregor (née McGregor) is a researcher at UNU-MERIT. Her PhD research focused on the role of international organisations in migration governance (PhD still to be defended). She holds a master's degree in Public Policy and Human Development from MGSoG/United Nations University with a specialization in Migration Studies. Prior to her study in Maastricht, she obtained an MSc Urban Regeneration and an MA in Public Policy at the University of Glasgow. Since joining the school she has been involved in a number of migration related research projects and evaluations. Her main research interest lies in the area of migration and development, with a particular focus on migration governance. She is currently working on WP9 of the MIGNEX project (https://www.mignex.org/).

She is contact for research on policy coherence and migration governance at UNU-MERIT.
