Anthony Arundel is a Professorial Fellow at UNU-MERIT and an expert in the design, implementation, and analysis of innovation surveys. His current research focuses on innovation in the public sector, including the resources and capabilities that public sector managers draw upon to obtain good outcomes from process, social, environmental and service innovations. Other research interests include questionnaire design and methodology, environmental innovation, intellectual property rights, and knowledge flows from universities and public research institutes to firms.
