Sepideh Yousefzadeh is an Affiliated Researcher at UNU-MERIT and a Post-doc Researcher at the University of Groningen. Her current research interest focuses on “Normative indicators of child growth” and her PhD thesis (from Maastricht Graduate School of Governance) dealt with multidimensional child poverty in Iran. She aims to bridge policy and practice concerning children's right to development with the relevant academic discourses. Prior to her experience as a researcher, she worked in international development for NGOs and the United Nations in Iran, Afghanistan and Lebanon. Her expertise comprises policy advocacy and analysis; strategic planning; project cycle management; and child rights advocacy. She has academic training in public administration at Harvard University.
