Herman Pijpers joined Maastricht University in 2001 and prior to that, he worked as a webmaster at the European Journalism Centre in Maastricht. At UNU-MERIT, he is responsible for the web architecture, design, and ICT support. Additionally, he is the institute's photographer and captures events such as PhD defenses, conferences, and other events for the centre's websites, newsletters, and brochures.
