ATMs are widespread and credit cards are widely accepted. It is still recommendable to bring some Uruguayan pesos. Tipping: In restaurants, leave 10% of the bill. In taxis, round up the fare a few pesos.
The climate in Uruguay is mild and humid, with homogeneous rainfall throughout the year. Seasonal variations are pronounced. November is almost the end of Spring, usually damp, almost ward already (18 °C daily mean). The absence of mountains and other weather barriers makes all locations vulnerable to high winds and rapid changes in weather.
