Jo Ritzen, Bruno Martorano, Yannick Markof, Zina Nimeh, & Lonneke Nillesen, UNU-MERIT
The dramatic global challenges facing the world today request close collaborations between scientists around the world and those interested in evidence-based policymaking that supports human and planetary welfare. The Global Labour Organisation (GLO) annual conference is a 24-hour event on 1 and 2 December that reflects on the nexus between research and policy.
Researchers at UNU-MERIT whose work touches on themes of trust and inequality are contributing to the annual conference through a special session. The lineup includes:
- Globalization and Trust in Government
Jo Ritzen (UNU-MERIT) - Do pandemics Lead to Rebellion? Policy Responses to COVID-19, Inequality and Protests in the USA
Bruno Martorano (UNU-MERIT) - Turning COVID-19 Vaccines into Vaccinations in Sub-Saharan Africa: Evidence from Panel Survey Data
