About the speaker
Georg Frerks is professor of disaster studies at Wageningen University. Frerks is also head of the Conflict Research Unit of the Clingendael Institute and Professor of Conflict Studies at the University of Utrecht. His areas of expertise include disaster prevention, management, humanitarian aid, assessment, local capacity and aid policy.
