Flavia Pereira de Carvalho graduated in Economics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas UNICAMP in January 2001. Since then she joined a research group at the Science and Technology Policy Department and has been working in several research projects revolving around a variety of sectors and problems in the process of technological development in Brazil.  Her PhD research topic is on FDI from Emerging markets , with a focus on Brazilian Multinationals.
