Mathias Weidinger has been a Project Assistant at UNU-MERIT/MGSoG since September 2019. As the primary contributor to the SURF Project on online education, he develops and maintains online materials, predominantly for master students. These include tools to inform specialisation choices in the MSc Public Policy and the creation of interactive and concise open-access online toolkits, introducing methodologies and organisation tools relevant for students and professionals in Public Policy. A key goal of his work is to enhance the compatibility between public policy education at UNU-MERIT and the demands on the labour market. Apart from working at UNU-MERIT, Mathias is an MSc Candidate in Economic and Financial Research at Maastricht University's School of Business and Economics (GSBE) and also in Public Policy and Human Development at UNU-MERIT, specialising in Social Protection Finance.
