Hanh La is a Science, Technology & Innovation researcher, a lecturer in Economics / Text Analysis / Sentiment Analysis / Machine Learning, and a consultant on emerging technological applications. She has various teaching and curriculum design experience at the Faculty of Economics, Academy of Finance in Viet Nam; the School of Business and Economics, Maastricht University; Swiss School of Management; and in the Minor Data-Driven Decision Making at the HAN University of Applied Sciences.

She is currently working on a Ph.D. thesis "DNA Nanoscience and DNA Nanotechnology – Delineation, Exploration, and Implication" and a self-initiated R&D project "Application of DNA Nanotechnology in liver cancer diagnosis”, funded by the German Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (ZIM) and the Vietnamese Ministry of Science and Technology.
