Agnes Grégoire joined the Migration and Development Research Group at UNU-Merit as a Research Officer in June 2019. She holds a MSc degree in Public Policy and Human Development from United Nations University / Maastricht University where she specialised in Migration Studies. She wrote her master thesis on the influence of acculturation on life satisfaction of Syrian Unaccompanied Minor Asylum seekers. She previously worked as a teacher and student counsellor at a transition school for adolescent migrants in the Netherlands. Her main research interest is in the field of forced migration, particularly the education and integration of (minor) refugees.
