4. Governance and institutions
Mr. Ansyari obtained his MSc in Educational Science and Technology from the University of Twente the Netherlands. For his PhD, he conducts research on teacher professional development for 'data use by applying various methods, including systematic literature reviews, a meta-analysis, a decision tree analysis, and a discrete-choice experiment. His interests include teacher professional development, data-driven decision making in education, curriculum and instruction, educational technology, and teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL). In addition to his PhD research, he is currently working as an expert in digital skills development for International Telecommunication Unions (ITU).
Up to now, he has published his research in a number of peer-reviewed journals, including Educational Research Review, Teaching and Teacher Education, Journal of Professional Capital and Community and Australasian Journal of Educational Technology. Additionally, he presented and participated in several international programs such as conferences, the International Visitors' Leadership Program in the US and TESOL Summit in Athens.
