Cristina Mancigotti


Education coordinator

Cristina Mancigotti is Capacity Development Coordinator at United Nations University-MERIT and Maastricht University. Cristina coordinates the Capacity Development Office delivery of training and programme for relevant stakeholders, including governmental officials, UN bodies and international organisations. Among her responsabilities, Cristina is the interim manager for the Migration Management Diploma Programme (MMDP). She is also the main coordinator for the blended learning programme of Evidence-Based Policy Research Methods (EPRM).

Cristina's expertise is mainly on adult education, focusing on qualitative methodologies. She has collaborated on research projects focusing on learning solutions in higher education.  

Cristina holds a MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from UNU-MERIT/Maastricht University, with a specialisation in Migration studies. Prior joining UNU-MERIT, Cristina worked with civil society organisations and international organisations such as the Council of Europe and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology.
