Julia Reinold (MSc) currently works as an education and research officer for the Migration Group at UNU-MERIT / School of Governance. She specialises in research of migration and cross-border regions using both qualitative and quantitative methods. Recent research projects that she conducted were on the determinants of migration intentions of graduates in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine and projects aiming at facilitating graduates’ integration into the euregional labour market in collaboration with experts from the Research Centre for Education and the Labour Market (ROA), Maastricht. In addition, she contributes to various research project commissioned by European Union Institutions, International Organisations (UNDP, ICMPD, ILO) and Development Organisations (GIZ, SDC) on a regular basis. Julia finished both her Bachelor degree in European Studies and her Master degree in Public Policy and Human Development with a specialisation in Regional Integration and Multi-Level Governance at Maastricht University.
