Wim Naudé is Professor in Business and Entrepreneurship at Maastricht University, Professor in Development Economics and Entrepreneurship at Maastricht School of Management and Research Fellow at IZA: Institute of Labor Economics in Bonn, Germany. He is currently also Visiting Professor at RWTH Aachen University in the TIME research area “Technology, Innovation, Marketing and Entrepreneurship” and Academic Visitor at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Previously he was Senior Research Fellow at UNU-WIDER in Helsinki, Finland; Professor in Economics and Research Director at North-West University in South Africa; and Lecturer and Research Officer at the University of Oxford. His research is broadly concerned with the interrelationships between technological innovation, entrepreneurship, industrialization and development.
