Research interests

Topics: Entrepreneurship, labour markets, development economics, impact evaluation.
Policies: Entrepreneurship; employment; and poverty reduction.

Currently, I am studying the impact of policies targeted at the poor. Particularly, I am interested in the impact that entrepreneurship policies have on this particular population. Specially, when they are a part of a more complete, overarching poverty reduction strategy, for instance, alongside social protection interventions. For the analysis at hand, econometric techniques such as marginal treatment effects and binary dependent variable will be used.
