Isabel M. Bodas Freitas is full professor of technology and innovation management at Grenoble Ecole de Management, Univ Grenoble Alpes ComUE. She did her 5-year undergraduate studies in Economics at the University of Porto, Porto, Portugal. She received her from MSc. and PhD in Science and Technology Policy from SPRU, University of Sussex, UK. After completing her PhD, Isabel has been a post-doc researcher at the Technical University of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. Her main research interests include the management and economics of innovation, with particular emphasis on the strategic process of knowledge development and diffusion in different organizational and industry contexts. Her research also explores university-industry links, open innovation, renewable energy and innovation policy.
