| The project provided support for the development of the EU Action Plan to promote the diffusion of clean technologies in Europe.
Its objectives were:
(1) Identification and description of the main clean technologies for specific industrial sectors. The description of these techniques includes operational performance, environmental performance and costs.
(2) Identification of the main variables that could affect the diffusion process.
(3) Description of the diffusion trajectory of the previously identified technologies within each industrial sector until the 2020 horizon.
