| description |
The project undertook a comparative analysis of the local and long distance linkages of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with a view to analysing the extent to which these are complementary or substitutable. Face-to-face interviews with 50 firms - 25 from the ICT and 25 from the biotechnology sectors - were conducted. The firms are located in clusters in or near to the cities of Strasbourg, Grenoble, Nimes, Montpellier, Toulouse and Marseille in France. |
