description	The overall objective of the project was to generate information on the agricultural systems of innovation in six ACP countries with a view to strengthening the Science & Technology (S&T) and Agricultural Research and Development (ARD) policy framework and implementation of related policies and programmes in ACP countries while simultaneously developing capacity in the targeted countries to conduct similar studies and monitor the development of the agricultural system of innovation.
deliverables	A first workshop on Agricultural Systems of Innovation bringing together participants from all six countries was held at UNU-INTECH in February 2004 • Training workshops facilitated by UNU-INTECH were held at the regional level in Senegal , Dominica , and Kenya
