In its first year, the project has completed surveys of firms and professionals, as well as a legal study, an econometric study of several thousand firms and patents, a study of the technological development process as impacted by patents, and case studies on the affect of patents on specific Free/Libre/Open Source Software (FLOSS) applications. Reports from these studies are not yet available to the public.
