Scotland opens fuel cell office

Scotland is to get a new office unit and demonstration centre powered by a hydrogen fuel cell system under plans unveiled by Scottish Enterprise. Expected to cost £2.77 million, the complex will be constructed in Fife's 'Energy Park' in Methil, illustrating the potential future role of renewable energy sources and hydrogen power. According to Scottish Enterprise, which is funding the project along with Alsherra Investments and the European Regional Development Fund, the office unit and demonstration centre will become a "world leader", exhibiting the integration of renewable energy sources and fuel cell energy storage technology.;
