Jun Hou participates in the PhD programme in the Economics and Policy Studies of Technical Change from 2007. He obtained his MA in Economics of Development from Institute of Social Studies in 2006. Before joining the MERIT UNU/INTECH PhD Programme, Jun was also an intern in United Nations Environmental Programme, Global Programme of Action office. His undergraduate study was finished in Hainan University (People's Republic of China), specialized in Agricultural Economics.
