| Karsten Gerloff

Karsten Gerloff, born in 1977, joined UNU-MERIT in October 2006.
Having studied in Lüneburg, Germany, and Madrid, Spain, he holds
an M.A. in Cultural Sciences from the University of Lüneburg. His
research interests include the social effects of technology, in
particular Free Software. He also works on topics concerning
access to knowledge, such as copyright and patent policies.
Prior to joining UNU-MERIT, Karsten Gerloff worked for the Free
Software Foundation Europe (FSFE).
