| Than le Phuoc studied economics at the Hochiminh National University of Economics, in Vietnam for two years. Then, he moved to the Netherlands and finished his bachelor degree in International Business and Management Study. After that, he finished an MA in Financial Management and followed a research Master program in Finance at Tilburg University. During his graduate studies he gave computer-skill assistance dealing with undergraduate student assignments. His research interests are mainly on productivity in banking, financial systems and economic development. More specifically, he is interested in applying productivity analysis techniques (DEA, SFA) in Asian financial sector. He is currently working on his PhD dissertation on "Productivity Analysis and Financial Innovation: Applications in Banking and Finance in Asia". The topic focuses on the role of innovation and technology related to the performance of banking and financial sector in Asian region where developing countries are his research target. |
