Pham Quang Ngoc joined the MERIT/UNU-INTECH Ph.D. Programme in September 2001. He studied information technology at Hanoi Polytechnics University (Hanoi, 1995) and economics at National Economic University in Vietnam (Hanoi, 1998); and at Maastricht School of Management where he received a MBA in Corporate Strategy and Economic Policy (Maastricht, 2000). His current research focuses on economic growth and total factor productivity growth; economic of structural changes; input-output economics; applied econometrics, productivity and innovation. Pham Quang Ngoc was a researcher of economics at Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry until 2001. In the past he has done consulting research for the ZDH Partnership Programme (F.G.Germany)- on Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in the Vietnamese Private Sector, and International Labour Office (Geneva) -on Creating a Conductive Policy Environment for Employment Creation in the Small Enterprise sector in Vietnam. |
