Francisco Aguayo (1972)joined the UNU-MERIT PhD programme in 2001. He is based at the Science, Technology and Development Program at El Colegio de Mexico in Mexico City. His research area is the economics of technical change and development, and the relationship between technical change and sustainability. His dissertation research focuses on technology diffusion and imitation in late development.
