| Dinh Tuan Minh joined the MERIT/UNU-INTECH (now UNU-MERIT) PhD programme in 1999. His thesis is titled, "Change of Governance Structure and Development of Capability:
Theoretical Issues and an Illustrative Analysis on the Changes of
Enterprises in the Vietnamese Cement Industry." His research focus is on the relationship between governance structure and development of capability of the firm, using an in-depth study of the Vietnamese cement industry to illustrate his theoretical framework. Minh holds a Masters degree in Engineering (Energy Economics and Planning) from the Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Thailand, 1999 and a Bachelor of Engineering in Energy Economics from Hanoi University of Technology in Hanoi, Vietnam, 1996. He plans to continue with research in the field of economics of industrial organization after completing his studies. |
