| Radhika Bhuyan Perrot is a PhD Fellow at UNU-MERIT. Her research has analysed strategic innovation activities of global firms over the technology life cycle of renewable energy technologies. Radhika has experience in technology policy and research analysis of climate change, renewable energy technologies and innovation policies. She has researched and worked on various issues and topics around renewable energy, namely, feed-in policies and socio-technological factors behind solar PV, wind and hydrogen-fuel cells innovation, and understanding market competition and firm strategies in global markets. Her current research focus is on comparing the transition of energy systems to low-carbon technologies in the BASIC (South Africa, India, China and Brazil) countries looking at the barriers and drivers of innovation of these technologies. She is based in South Africa and has contributed to various journals with policy, academic and market analysis of the renewable energy industry. |
