| Paul Kunst is a Senior Research Fellow at Merit. He studied business administration at the Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Free University in Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam, where he graduated in 1983. From 1983 to 1989 he was an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Maastricht University. During this time his research concentrated on control in organisations. He was also involved in studies concerning works councils, as well as studies on the relationships between strategy, structure, culture and control. Paul Kunst joined MERIT in 1989, where he combined his research with consultancy activities. His research initially focused on management in services. The last decade he has been involved as a researcher and co-ordinator in a number of European studies on quality. Paul Kunst is now involved in a European partnership that studies the use of knowledge by companies for innovative purposes. As a consultant he works with larger service companies on topics as quality, value management, structure and strategy. |
